About the Teacher

Hi! My name is Lauren Comegys. I will be your child’s First Grade teacher! This will be my third year teaching at Academy of Dover Charter School. In January of 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-8 from Wilmington University.

When I’m not teaching or at school, I enjoy spending time with my fiance, my family and my friends, playing with my 2 dogs, Gunner and Gage, and going to the beach.  A few of my favorite things are the color yellow, eating Mexican food, drinking Diet Coke, shopping at Target, and rooting for the Baltimore Orioles!

I am excited to make this our best year yet!
